A fresh new look for Flowervision Bristol. Like many others we have taken the opportunity to re-group, re-evaluate and rejuvenate during our recent enforced break.
We felt it was very important to stay possitive and look to the future and so the very first thing we did was completely clear and clean the warehouse, then we turned our attention to the floors. Our floors take an awful lot of ware and tare as our operation is almost 24 hours, 4o plus staff and countless customers and it really showed but how do you reseal and paint a floor when you never close?
Once the floor was cleaned, sealed and painted we turned our attention to the biggest new addition, the living wall. We are responding to the huge surge in the popularity of houseplants and wanted to introduce a element of inspiration while creating a real focus in the front hall. The wall is created on a self watering system so it is very easy to maintain and fairly simple to install. We also have a beautiful new counter for Ann which doubles up as a plant display in the front hall and new, much more versatile packing benches.
Finally the fridge, again it has been cleaned, the floor is beautifully clean and glistening and we now have a bright and colourful backdrop. we have replaced the old metal style benches with wooden ones and for our ease of picking, locations are stencilled o to the side, much more efficient and looks great.
We are following government advice and adapting our working practices as and when logistically possible so just at the moment you cannot enter the fridge but you can come into the front hall to collect your flowers and we can't wait to see you all and to show you what we have done. We hope everyone is well and we really would love to hear all of your plans and see your own new developements. well come back everyone!
